I have been here before and I wasn't about to be abused again. He did not confirm in his response that he had refunded my money. In fact it was returned in the same packaging in which it had been sent apart from the paper that he had wrapped around it but it was taped and as well protected as any package I have ever had delivered by Amazon. He responded by saying that he wasn't happy with the way in which I had packed it for return. After several days I emailed Roy to ask if he had refunded my money. The package was marked as delivered to pjbox but no money was forthcoming. I could see what was likely to happen here and didn't want to take any risks. That was the price payable for the £300 insurance. Wary by this time I returned the antenna at a cost of £30. I invited him to send me a prepaid or arrange for collection and he didn't respond to my request just advising me that parcelforce was the cheapest courier and that it would only cost me £12. It took me multiple emails and pictures of the ceramic sticking out of the balun to convince him that there was a problem and he eventually agreed for me to return it saying that he would refund my money on receipt of the returned antenna.

Another customer had had this problem he said.

I emailed Roy who tried to convince me that it was just packaging and that I should just pull it out and throw it away. A piece of the wirewound ceramic former inside the balun had broken and was sticking out of a hole in the casing. It arrived with a damaged balun that rattled when I shook it. I bought a Diamond BB7V antenna for £300 off this company.
